Facebook has changed its Privacy Policy and that'll start from January 1st 2015. Earlier in this month Facebook had proposed some changes in Tersm, cookies policy and data policy and open to public opinion until November 20th. And after that recently Facebook giving Notification to every User regarding to changes in Privacy Policy

Facebook explained its policies though 9,000 plus words. The aim was make it simple and maintain users privacy controls, data protection and control user information.

Also when u r using smartphones or desktop if u don't like ads u can easily disable that type of ads. Facebook ads and posts only based on user interests.
