Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 reference smartphone and tablet hardware kits are now available

Snapdragon a leading Chipset manufacturer had launched Snapdragon 810 reference smartphone and tablet hardware kit with development platform offered by Canadian leading developer of intelligent connected devices Intrinsyc.

This next-generation MDP is designed to provide application developers with the most feature rich, performance-enhanced Android platform for developing, testing, optimizing and showcasing applications and games.

The Smartphone platform is made with  64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with octa-core CPU, Adreno 430 CPU, Qualcomm Hexagon V56 DSP,  4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM (available commercially in a device for the first time), 32GB of built-in memory, micro SD card slot, and 6.2” display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

It is packed with 13 MP rear camera with 4K video capture and 4MP front shooter with 1080p video recording. It has a very good sensor connectivity suit which includes fingerprint sensor, temperature and humidity sensor and built-in eight microphones. This device is given a huge power house of 3020mAh battery with 2.0 Qualcomm Quick Charger. And one more point that makes it unique of present smartphones is runs on the latest Android OS. Priced at $799 (Around 49,000 rupees)

The tablet platform features the same chipset and amount of RAM as the smartphone but display is a 10.1” 4K unit (3840 x 2160) pixels, while onboard memory sits at 64GB, which can be further expanded via micro SD card slot. It is packed with 13 MP rear camera with 4K video capture, 4MP front shooter, and a 3D IR camera is also on board. It has similar sensors as that of Smartphone and a great power house of 7560mAh. (Around 61,000 rupees)

These Devices will begin to ship in this Mid-December. These are design to give glimpse of future upcoming Android flagship devices of coming year but not intended for regular consumers.
