Xiaomi Redmi Note: Things to know about India's cheapest 4G mobile

As expected Xiaomi has announced Redmi Note at low price in India. It has two Variants In this Model Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G Versions. And the 3G version priced at Rs 8,999. and 4G version Priced at Rs 9,999. 1st sale will be on December 2.

Redmi Note 

              But firstly Redmin Note 3G  only  version available on Dec 2nd on FlipKart. Registrations for dec 2nd sale will start on 25th Nov 6PM. And the 4G version will be available by end of December(dec 23 to 30 date has not confirmed  yet). Xiaomi was associated with Airtel for 4G version also available in Airtel Stores .

Design and Display:

This time Xiaomi plans to bring large screen experience on Budget. The device Supports a large 5.5- inch screen. HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution, and a pixel density that goes all the way up to 267 ppi. Weighing 199 grams, it is slightly heavier than other popular devices that come with a 5.5-inch display. The plastic -built device measures 154 x 78.7 x 9.5 mm. It comes with a removable cover that can be swapped with other designs, but we wonder if these covers will be made available in India.

OS:

Xiaomi mobiles runs with MIUI. Redmi Note will run MiUi v6. It comes with Android Lollipop. MiUi comes with drawerless home screens similar to iOS.

Camera:

This budget Note offers a 13MP rear snapper with LED flash and auto focus. It also supports 1080p recording at 30fps. For selfies and video conferencing, one will also find a 5MP front-facing camera. It comes with camera features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection and HDR.

Redmi Note Gaming

Processor:

Both the models look the same and comes with an almost similar spec sheet. The 3G version of the phone is powered by an octa-core MTK 6592 1.7GHz processor from MediaTek, while the 4G version runs on a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor.

Another difference is that the 3G version offers two SIM micro card slots -3G and 2G. On the other hand, the 4G version offers only one SIM card slot.
